But the living do and in most cases this internet graveyard has no respect 4 family privacy.Joehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11504928297536690806noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-119019443536726183.post-87506783134360771032012-01-20T18:49:59.222-05:002012-01-20T18:49:59.222-05:00I have always used this procedure and it has gone ...I have always used this procedure and it has gone quite well. Recently I found two memorials for the same person. The guy who posted first had the full name, including maiden, and a photo of the woman and her very lengthy obituary but said the remains were cremated and burial not known. The second person had a photo of the tombstone and the cemetery listed but did not know the maiden name. I sent and identical post to both of them, listed all numbers of both the members and the memorials and asked if they could get together on this and combine their memorials to make one complete one and when they did would they please connect her to her mother's memorial which was MY memorial. They have neither one responded to me or changed their memorials. But it's only been a week. I will wait. One thing I have found to be good when suggesting an addition or correction, is to list those things and then say "I don't know how busy you are but if you'd prefer to transfer this memorial to me I will be happy to make all the corrections myself." There are a lot of people who are very busy adding memorials and some of them are quite happy to transfer. Others won't transfer for anything unless you fall into the generational guidelines set up by F.A.G.Lisa Wallen Logsdonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13003873811444854964noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-119019443536726183.post-18502361241286975412012-01-19T22:00:03.980-05:002012-01-19T22:00:03.980-05:00Great post, Lisa. There were a couple times when the person who created the memorial had passed away as well, and I just requested the memorial be changed over to me.Cherie Cayemberghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00748187506552981093noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-119019443536726183.post-68470864206149344862012-01-19T09:22:37.434-05:002012-01-19T09:22:37.434-05:00Wendy:

I just want everyone to be aware of the correct way to avoid any disappointments! Overall, my experience on the site has been wonderful!

LisaLisa Swanson Ellamhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13845774053431903046noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-119019443536726183.post-83658058609230633102012-01-19T07:53:41.066-05:002012-01-19T07:53:41.066-05:00Oh wow, I feel like I just dodged a bullet. It worked out fine and she was appreciative. Thanks for this information, in case I need to submit a suggested correction in the future.Wendyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17863357756727783017noreply@blogger.com
