All those children, no smiles and the poor little girls don't look comfortable in those shoes/boots. But still, it is a slice of our heritage, and thanks for sharing this photo.

ReplyDeletewell. this photograph is really enough to make you stop and think. I hope when they weren't sitting for a photograph they were more cheerful. I know sometimes kids can look like it's the end of the world when you're trying to get a good group photo, hope that was the case here.
ReplyDeleteThe parents look so young to have so many children! At first I thought the little ones in front might be boys, then read the names. Their hair is probably short due to some illness.
