As I write this post my Mother-in-Law is undergoing a double bypass surgery.
I am so thankful for the doctors who found the problem, for the medical knowledge available to repair the damage and to the entire medical community at Memorial Hospital in South Bend for taking loving care of her for us.
I'm grateful for the outpouring of love and prayers both Jan and our family have received these last few days.
Mostly I'm thankful that among the gifts we will receive this holiday season, the best gift of all, will be having Jan home with us for Christmas. Nothing else can compare.
I pray that Jan has a swift recovery and you all have a blessed holiday.
